Nico Pauly has taught this Nerve Reflexology course for the professional federation of reflexologists in Holland (VNRT), Greece, the Uk and also for the Danish Reflexology Association. He has presented papers at the ART conference in London and the ICR international conference for reflexologists in Rome. He is a well known and highly respected medical physiotherapist and tutor, who had practised for 30 years in medical institutions and has used Froneberg and his own reflexology techniques for the past twenty years. Nico Paulywas affiliated to the IRSK-Wings organisation which is the Belgium scientific institute for post-graduate courses in the health sector and now runs a specialised Nerve reflexology and Manual Neuortherapy organisation called MNT-NR International. www.MNT-NR.COM He is a fluent English speaker with great communication skills. Reflexology needs to have as much medical/clinical input as possible if we are to gain the respect of the medical profession. This course will give you specialist skills that are easily integrated into your practice. You may either book Level 1 only or all three levels. Anyone who has already studied Level 1 and wishes to follow levels 2 & 3 please contact us for special arrangements if places are still available. A large number of people were unable to obtain places on the previous series of seminars so booking is expected to be brisk - please book early to avoid disappointment. Nerve Reflexology Seminar Format Level 1: The reflexologist or manual therapist will learn, over three days, many of the basic concepts of neuroreflexology plus specific technique for treating the lumbar and sacral spine. Specific techniques for treating the bladder, kidneys, intestines and reproductive system will also be taught. A 60 page manual is issued . A Certificate of Attendance will be issued by the MNT-NR International organisation. Authorised for 36 CPD points per Level by the Association of Reflexologists. Level 2 and 3: leading to a practical exam and MNT-NR International certificate of Qualified Nerve Reflexologist Total 108 CPD points). Nerve Reflexology is further developed in these levels with the entire spine and nerve innervations being treated. In Level 2 it is the thoracic, lower cervical spine and upper abdominal organs and in Level 3 it is the higher cervical spine. Level 3 not only studies the brain, ears, eye teeth reflexes and endocrine glands but also looks at the treatment of ME, Lupus and Arthritis among others. A 50 - 60 page manual is issued on both levels. At the end of the Level 3 weekend the reflexologist will take a practical exam (included in the price) which will lead to the presentation of the MNT-NR International certificate "Qualified Nerve Reflexologist". Reading Matter It is a fairly demanding course with a requirement to assimilate technical information on the central nervous system. Reflexologists who obtained good grades in the Anatomy and Physiology aspects of their course and enjoy further study should benefit from this course. Two recommended books on anatomy and on the central nervous system will be listed with your confirmation details. The 50-60 page manuals that are issued on each neurotherapy level are included in the price of the course. Extra reading suggestions will be sent to applicants prior to the course. Location Bristol, in the south-west of England, is very accessible from all parts of the country as it is at the intersection of the M4 and M5 motorways. There are four high speed trains per hour to Bristol from London Paddington and take about 1 hour 30 minutes. Bristol International Airport is only 20-25 minutes from the venue in central Bristol and there is plenty of car parking near-by.
