Lynne discovered Reflex Vertical Therapy (VRT) while working on orthopaedic
problems associated with the elderly. She has subsequently developed and extended this
technique to cover all age groups and conditions and has developed a short comprehensive
treatment that involves her new techniques and conventional reflexology. The Daily
Telegraph, Here's Health, Positive Health,Sunday Express and Sunday Times and many
other newspapers, magazines and professional journals have featured articles on VRT
and over 80 articles have been published in the UK and abroad. Her best-selling book Vertical
Reflexology (Published by Piatkus £12.99) maps out original foot charts depicting
new, and deeper, reflexes that are manifest when the foot is weight-bearing. It is a
best-seller and has already been reprinted three times. Her new book Vertical
Reflexology for Hands which features the new VRT nail-working was published in
June 2003. Synergistic Reflexology and allied techniques, where hand and foot
reflexes are worked simultaneously, was developed as an extension of VRT but can be
equally applied to conventional reflexology. Lynne's books have been, or are in the
process of being, translated into Dutch, Czech, Japanese, Russian and Portuguese for
Brazil.
